This death is simple. There is no blood , no screaming , no inspirational speech before dying or anything like that
I think this simplicity is making this scene heart breaking because it feel real. Senku and Tsukasa are talking about random stuff to be less sad but we can see that Senku is really safe even if he try to stay strong for his friend

Tsukasa, a chieftain, interred and sleeping at or just a small step beyond the edge of death awaiting the day he can be awoken once more.

Just like the mushroom gives Mario false hope that he got stronger, Senku gives Tsukasa false hope that he will be able to save him.
This scene hits harder when you catch some of the lines in the song in it

I like how Tsukasa doesn’t say anything cliche like asking Senku to take care of his sister. He already trusts his life in Senku’s hands so he knows his sister will be alright. Or maybe I’m just reading too much into it.
It makes me want to cry..
