ToonSquid 1.10 is out now and it comes with many exciting improvements. Here are the most important ones: – Crop: Change the canvas size after a project or animation clip has been created via Settings → Info → Crop. – Folders: Organize your projects and assets using folders in the library. – Edit multiple selected drawings at once using the transform tool. – New pencil brushes: “Sketch Pencil” and “Sandy” – New brush settings: Tilt Size Compression, Tilt Control Stretch, Tilt Control Shift, Gradation Tilt Control, Bleed Tilt Control – The tilt threshold is now a property of each brush and not a global setting anymore. – Updated the following brushes: “Pencil”, “6B Pencil”, “Flat Brush”, “Blotchy”, “Dry “Watercolor”. You need to manually reset those brushes if you want the updates to be applied to them. – Polygon Selection: The freehand selection tool mode now allows you to tap individual points to create polygonal selections and doesn’t close the selection region automatically anymore. The old behavior can be restored via Settings → Tools → Selection → Manually close selections. – Canvas Flip: Temporarily flip the canvas horizontally and vertically (Settings → General). – Out of Pegs: Also known as “Shift and Trace”, This feature lets you temporarily move your onion skins to help you draw inbetweens while keeping consistent proportions. – Use the “Select multiple” action as an alternative to the double-tap-and-drag gesture to select multiple drawings or keyframes in the timeline. The gesture can now also be disabled in the gesture settings. – Reverse Drawings: Multiple selected drawings in the same layer can now be reversed using the “Reverse Drawings” action. – ProRes 4444: When exporting an MOV video with transparency included, you can now optionally choose the ProRes 4444 codec, which has better compatibility with some third-party software than HEVC. – Camera Outside Darkening: The outside regions of the camera layer are now darkened during playback to make it easier to see what will be visible in the final export and what won’t. This can also be enabled during editing and the darkening amount is configurable via the inspector. – You can now disable the quick pinch gesture for resetting the canvas zoom. – The pinch-to-zoom gesture in the timeline now feels a lot more reliable. – The font “Weight” and “Style” dropdowns have been combined into a single dropdown that now contains all font variants of an installed typeface. – Left Handed UI mode – Various bug fixes – The minimum supported iPadOS version is now 15.0. 3. It’s great program and update. Small suggestion. It would be great if flipping canvas would be accessible like on the tool bar or somewhere where you can click or unclick it faster. Thank you for making such an amazing app. It’s so far my favorite for animation on iPad.

  4. Legends. Thank you! I purchased this app at the beginning of the year and came across a video reviewing various animation apps much later. They listed the lack of some of these features as a downside but a comment mentioned this update to correct them. Wasn't even aware of the update myself until now and I'm happily playing and learning the toonsquid app again. These added features are super helpful!

Keep up the awesome work <3

  5. Hello uhm i dont know if this is a feature or not but Can you add keyframes to a layer with animation like for example i have this head thats moving to the left But i want the eyes to follow and blink while its moving is that a feature?

  6. heyy may be a big request but could you add a customizable workspace? like being able to change the size of all the toolbars and menus or be able to move them around? this doesnt really affect the animation part of the app but it does create more personalization and can make each individual user's experience more enjoyable and easy !!

  7. Best app ever :)🤩🤩🤩😍💖✨✨✨
I have a small suggestion , if there is a update
Can you guys add alpha lock and basic fx like blur , chromatic aberration and noise ?
That would make this app even more epic !

Also , Keep up the good work ! 💖✨✨✨

  8. Awesome update!!
Thank you for creating such great apps for 2D animation.

You are a genius !! I think it is the best animation app on iPad so far, even better than procreate dream in a lot of ways!

But I also love to see more functions that can be added in the future.

1: Canvas flip horizontal should have a shortcut button next to the Actions button or use hand gestures.

2: Timeline layer filters such as Hue/Saturation

    3: Warp can be Keyframes.

    Thank You again!!
