      The whole point is education the state where education is high their per capita income is high their representation is good quality and their population is under control

      I disagree with this reservation completely and this video specifically, the points he made in this video in support of women's reservation are misleading,
      Regarding the reporting of women crimes, you can't compare last 25 years data trend and relate it to panchayat reservation as awareness has also increased regarding every crime which could be the main reason, and also I don't think that female sarpanch are the reason why female foeticide decreased in haryana states, many factors regarding govt. awareness, MTP act are the main reasons,
      High time he should stop using irrelevant data to forward his own biases

      General caste are there in Village,however reservations for sc/st and economic backward class, Reservations for Jain also should be there if muslims are getting reservations.

      I think women should come in politics but on the basis of their capabilities not through reservations. If all women are capable then of theirs representation is 90% it's good but if they are getting tickit just on the basis of gender then 10% is also not acceptable to me.

      Because we need a system in India where everyone gets recognition but not as reserved candidate but as a deserved candidate

      I love how Lalu tries to add "Muslim" women when talking about marginalized sections.
      People who used to be sl ave owners,have media representation in TV and news and had Jizya privilege do not deserve to be called marginalized.
      Only Dalits are marginalized because they were historically discriminated against and had to go through untouchability.

      A "representative democracy" involves representing people from all walks of life. Our parliament should have representations from men, women, trans, disabled, downtrodden, rich, poor , highly educated to illiterate. We must discuss on issues from all walks of life and then come to a consensus. Every opinion counts as long it is just. We must look for inclusiveness and focus on the betterment of everyone.

      It is great to see that emphasis is being laid on women empowerment in our country.

      After a long time, women are again coming back to their original position.

      That is, a situation in which women can do everything that men can do.

      Therefore they get equal respect and opportunities as men

      No. Reservation helps no one. Women are capable of contesting elections against men and winning. If they aren't then they're not worth it. Instead of reserving 33% seats in Parliament for women, there should be a mandate that 33% of all candidates representing a party in an election should be women. And they should compete against anyone regardless of their gender. This will put the responsibility of raising good female leaders on political parties. If Smriti Irani can win against Rahul Ghandy, then any woman can win against any man. This is not Nari Shakti. This is Nari Ashakti. And no, I'm not going to respect someone based on what they have between their legs.

      Besides, the meritorious ones who earned their place will always look down on those who got in because of their caste, religion and genitals. No respect for them.
