so the reason why Pale rider reacted the way it did is cuz being a Mage and a magician are two different things in fate being a magician means you can use true magic which is basically defying all known laws of reality and Physics so the holy grail when wtf gotta stop that shit now

Pale Rider was only protecting Tsubaki passively because she has no wish. It's basically the concept of death given a minor amount of anthropomorphism; it has no real consciousness. It only went after Gilgamesh and Enkidu in episode 0 because their battle was causing thunder, scaring Tsubaki in her coma. Jester manipulated Tsubaki into saying she wants to be a magician, which is a super rare thing that's only happened 5 times in all of Type-Moon history. The only way that's even remotely possible is through the grail. Now it's out to kill everybody to get it.

One thing people aren't noticing or paying attention to. She said magician not mage. She's already a mage. A magician is something else entirely. There are only five magicians/holders of true magic in the world. True magic is essentially magic on the level of gods. In some cases even beyond the reach of gods
Man, I'm so scared that Tsubaki might not survive or even wake up until the end, she's already in a coma and tricked by Jester into escalating the war by sending her servant (edit: her only/longest-standing constant companion too) out on an active quest solo, no allies or support.
Tsubaki-chan wish to become a Magician its absurd the only Magician we see in this series is the guy we see in the last scene of epi 0 holder of true Magic "Kaliedoscope"

You guys need to pay more attention when watching Fate. Looking away from the screen constantly while the characters are talking is baffling. The anime is already cutting a lot of stuff, so please try to focus more to the dialogues that the anime is deciding to show. Or you will end confused at the most stupidest things. Like asking why Jester is in two places at once when he literally implied that the one Flat and the others are facing is either a illusion or a clone.

No one watches fate for the plot. I've watched for almost 20 years now and I still don't know what's going on

Tsubaki’s wish is to become a Magician someone who uses Magic (Mahō) rather than a Mage, who uses magecraft (Majutsu). These are two distinct principles. Magecraft, in oversimplified terms, refers to any phenomenon that can be replicated through science or could potentially be replicated by human understanding in the future. Technically, magic seen in other series like JJK or Frieren would be considered merely a form of magecraft within the Fate universe.
In the Fate setting, True Magic is defined as anything impossible to reproduce in a given era, whether by humans or the Planet itself, even with infinite time and resources. Currently, only five forms of True Magic remain.
The issue, however, is not Tsubaki’s wish itself, but Pale Rider. An entity like Pale Rider possessing the Greater Grail would spell disaster. Consider the Fourth Holy Grail War, where the Grail was corrupted by Angry Mango, now imagine a Horseman of the Apocalypse corrupting it instead.
