What so gilgamesh is out of the war crazy
Once again, Gil's hubris gets the better of him, but I can actually give him some leeway this time. He could probably count the number of people who could truly make use of that key on one hand, and unfortunately, the worst possible person just so happens to "manifest" in the same war he's participating in to lock the vault. For anyone else, it might as well have been a toy. This outcome, while unfortunate, is better than him severely underestimating a weak opponent and only realizing he’s in real danger and deciding to fight back when it's too late.
Alcides is HIM let’s see this boy grind
Crazy good episode. I’ve already watched it like five times.
Nah, budget was not wasted on spamming Excalibur shots. It was simplistic with no details. Fate/Zero first Excalibur blast was far better animated.
The episode while impressive animation wise, left out so much from the novel I can't help but feel disappointed. From Richard having an entire sectionn boasting about his unbelievable speed that was boosted by his own skills, his power as a heroic spirit and a buff from his Rounds, Richard spamming excaliburs until it created a pillar of light and Giglamesh pushing back the excaliburs by using Enkidu(NP not servant) to reroute every single NP he fired into a "Golden Dragon", it was not nearly as impressive as the novel describes it.
There was also the part where John dreams of Edmon Dantes and his famous "Wait and Hope" before reviving and having a brief fight with Alcidas who was not going all out due to paying attention to gil, and they cut the entire Nameless vs Jester fight. The entire gilgamesh vs alcidas fight was cut down as well. In the end, I only consider this as a decent companion piece but as an adaptation, episode 10 was really disappointing
In fate I live by the rule «if they ain’t sparkle away, they are aye okay» Gil will walk it off (maybe)
Yow, I haven't enjoyed one of your breakdowns in a LONG ASS time. So glad to be back here. Everywhere on the internet it's these superficial 'x was bodied, y was bodied' and that's it. Then I come here and it's like returning home, a place where details matter and it makes things so much more exciting! Keep up the good stuff! xoxo!
Gilgamesh getting salty someone else was being chummy with enkidu only to get ganked a few moments later is rough
Gill is cursed to never win a grail war
The king of bums
Awesome video and info.
I loveeeeeeee fate but I don’t know anyone who does😭😭so glad you’re covering this episode!! Complete peak!
Thanks for explaining the significance of Gilgamesh still standing, even after taking three shots of arrow with Hydra Venom in it.
Fate fans are eating so good this season
Algorithm
Yep Gilgamesh won’t let this defeat down losing to Ishtar is humiliating even more to his lost to Shirou.
To me the way in how they animated Gilgamesh's dead body dropping is one of the most impressive and realistic dead animation in anime out there.
Who? I don't remember any of these characters in Overlord.
karma is a real monster eh gil
Oh boy if Caster Gil was here Ishtar will be the one to go first 😂
Thanks for the video. I'm enjoying Strange Fake and it was hard to find quality videos on it
I preferred Jack's Demon design in the manga.
Gilgamesh was even implying that Richard was nerfed due to his emotional state and relationship to his master. I wonder what his full potential looks like
Whatever happened to that arm? It went from gauntlet to prothesis inside the arm
2:22 Isn't that divine armor that cant be scratched?
Soo… about the dude that got his neck go crack , htf was he still standing? 🫠
Being a first timer in fate seeing alceides is like what the hell how do you you have 13 noble phantasm i tougth you could oly have one? 😭
It was a cool episode but I'm sad that they didn't give enough focus to the 2 fights. Gil death is definitely the most important event in that episode so it makes sense to focus on it but still it's a shame that we won't see Gil using the chain of heaven to manipulate NP he has already fired.
We got corrupted Hercules, Richard the Lionheart, Jack the Ripper, King Gilgamesh and a damn vampire getting into an all out brawl in the middle of Las Vegas. While a police force of mages equipped with legendary weapons made by French writer Alexandre Dumas tried to maintain order alongside cyborg executioner priests serving the Roman Catholic church.
Absolutely peak episode.
Even in his dying breath, Gil is true to form and still insults Ishtar. Mah man. The first hero, and the first one to basically say "Beat it, hoe"
Flat is just a amazing mage.
Like he is insane for even coming up with that command seal spell.
Damn I really wanted to see him go all out against Alcides
Meaning of friend to
Everyone: just friends
Gilgamesh: a concept transcending marriage, gender, race and emotions
Gilgamesh out first took me by surprise, this episode was insane
Good video 😊
tragic they took him too soon.
Gil was not yorokobe shonen 😓
The fight was actually adapted very poorly with how much content they cut, unfortunately
John Strange Fake came in clutch
Feel like it should've been 2 episodes with the amount of sh*t going on and how many characters were being dropped.
Bro who is saint Mahaeyzel and why does Patausche have dark bags under her eyes? And what was that book Venetim was reading?
So could Tine save gilgamesh or give him access to his np back? with a command spell?
wait to Gil really dead for another fake out ? so far every death is a fake out
Kinda funny that the former final boss of fate was the first one to get killed in battle
It's so unfortunate that this season didn't get a full 2 cours.😅
For those who do think there is intrigue with Gil's death, I must dissapoint you. The only two servants that can actually deal with Ishtar with her temple (and she will get a temple) & Huwawa are Gilgamesh and Enkidu, and only combined, other just stand no chance (If Alcides were Heracles he actually could defeat Ishtar, at the very least had a decent chance, but as Alcides there are none) so there is no way one of them dying before the final fight.
This is probably one of the best videos! Please continue. I wanna know more about berserker ( Humbaba). Supposedly they got a boost from Ishtar?
