Which Fate Command Spells Look the Best? #anime #fate

I also think a lot of command spells look boring but I don’t wanna be crucified for sharing which those are. Soundtrack Malkuth Battle Theme – Library of Ruina OST

  1. We never see the design, but I always laugh at that one NPC master in Fate/Extra who ends up with a command spell on his lower back… and is insanely embarrassed about it lol

  2. I really liked Kiritsugu Emiya’s Command Spell from Fate Zero, and just the whole overall dynamic of a nihilistic master and a heroic Servant is super cool.

  3. Jean d'Arc's command spell is pretty cool. I think the back is a really neat location for it. If it were me, the back of the neck would be super cool and easy to hide under long hair.

Although I might have to go with the lancer mark (Bazette's) or Kiritsugu's saber. They are the most recognizable to me, even moreso than Shiro's, and are just really stylish depictions of the actual weapons they represent.

  4. Kiritsugu's Command Spell. It is a sword, but also looks like an inverted cross. It's an "anti-christ" symbol, and his primary nemesis is Kirei Kotomine of the Church. Kirei is not a good Christian/Catholic/Church-goer, in terms of belief. Kiritsugu is one of the more self-sacrificing characters in the franchise and even gives up the Grail itself, because he knows the evils it will create. The dichotomy between these two is subtly forshadowed and referenced via Kiritsugu's command spells and I love that.

Alternatively, Ryuunosuke, who summoned Caster in Fate Zero. It just looks cool.

  5. Okay but imagine a command spell inside your eyes that's only visible when you're ready to use one, lights up like the spiral eyes from TTGL or a geass, that'd be hard af

  6. man I have been trying to design my own command spell on and off for like a year now and boy you really just gotta have a servant in mind because otherwise it's just infinitely harder lol

  7. My personal favorite is Illya's from the original novel, being basically an entire body tattoo. Shirou's is also pretty fitting, looking like a sword, but I'm def more of a Kiki person when it comes to command spells

  8. Edgy though it may be, I'm a sucker for Kairi Shishigo's Command Spell in Apocrypha. It's both a skull – obvious fit for a Necromancer – and it resembles the image of Mordred in full armor. Like a Rubin's Vase-esque illusion.

  9. It's hard to find one I like more than Rin's but I do enjoy how Kirei's seals go all the way up his arm to portray the abundant number of seals he has accumulated.

  10. I'm just a big sucker for dragons so Sieg's Command Spells cause it's just a dragon but also his are by fair one of the most unique. It's black for one and that's a rare color for Command Spells, from what I know at least, and it's just a big part of his character whereas most Command Spells are just there to order around servants. Seig Command Spells are what allows him to turn into a Heroic Spirit and he can use them on himself AND it's what's stopping him from turning into Fafnir. So both visually and story wise they Seig's Command Spells are one of the most unique

  11. I really like Ayaka's prototype command seal, with the one feather that looks like a sword. Ayaka's strange fake seals are less cool, but the multiple locations make up for it. Flat's sun and Sakura's flower are also cool. Francesca gets points for the throat location.

  12. I have always been a fan of the angular Command Spell designs. One of my particular favorites is Bazett's symmetrical "blades" that also resemble the readied form of Fragerach a little.
Daybit's feather like one is also very unique and cool.
But I also like the "classical" tribal tattoo looking Command Spells, such as those of Iori, Kadoc, Sisigou and Hakuno., Yui Shosetsu, and Paisen.
Another aspect I like is that the Yggdmillennia Command Spells all share the same base design element.

  13. You can't go wrong with Kiritsugu's command seal

Upside down cross inverts the symbol of Christianity. His powdered ribs produce 66 origin bullets, a number that invokes the Beast. His main rival is a Catholic priest. And the guy wishes to save all of humanity by getting rid of all of the people who don't conform to world peace

  14. I think if i remember correctly the fate prototype CS have a gimmick to them where they correspond to someone's magecraft level or something along those lines as each one has a rank named after angel ranks (hence why each one has different number of wings with Manaka's being the highest rank)

Which i think is a pretty neat detail that i wish we got more of in other fate works

  15. I don't know the design, probably for the better, but I recently was playig Fate/Extra and talked to a random unnamed NPC in one of the 1st days. They talk to Hakuno and can't help but express how glad Hakuno should be to have a Command Spell on their hand, because the npc got a Tramp Stamp. I honestly would love to know who this guy's Servant was if only to gauge their reaction to discovering where their Master's Command Spell was located.
