      0:56 Okay, let me cook. Remember in Fate Zero and UBW that the Einzberns are the ones whose responsible for holding the lesser grail, like how Irisviel in Fate Zero and Illyasviel in UBW? What if Ishtar took control of Philia's body, knowing that she's the vessel of the lesser grail. With this, the mana storage is not an issue anymore since lesser grail is a great definition of mana battery.

      There's a lot of parallels in this show, most of which of course is centered around "fakes".

      Flat faking his smile, but that fake was turned into a genuine smile by waver.

      False Caster saying that while his inspiration was a fake it left a real impact on him.

      And then Flat and Sigma both seemingly being empty inside but Flat mimicks the behaviour of others to fit in and fill himself, but because of Waver he realized that even a copy can be real. All of this also ties back to Shirou.

      regarding the clan calatin traitor, i'm going ALL IN on it being the blonde spearwoman. she's really the only other notable member after john and vera (even getting some cute art with hippolyta)

      Yeah, it can’t be understated just how important Waver is to Flat. In any other timeline where they didn’t meet, the Mages Association would put a Sealing Designation on his head and the COUNTER FORCE ITSELF would try and kill him.
      That’s how scary Flat is without Waver’s influence.

      In history, Hasan al-Sabbah (c. 1090), "the old man of the mountain," was a Persian (Iranian) Islamic scholar who led the Order of Assassins, a Nizari Ismaili (splinter sect of Shia Islam) military order based in mountain fortress (like ninja villages) that used unconventional tactics and their fanatical followers to battle foreign elements in Syria and Persia, especially the rival (Sunni Islam) Seljuk Turks who occupied the region. Since the European crusaders were also fighting the Seljuk Turks (who held Jerusalem, etc.) and one of the crusader leaders was Richard I "Lionheart" they formed an alliance of convenience with Richard against their common foe. Hassan was the greatest of a line of several Nizari Ismaili ("assassin") leaders, all of whom cultivated a mysterious image and took the name "old Man of the Mountain" — this is probably what inspired their nature and powers in Fate. Since female assassin is presumably one of that order, though not a leader, she likely has a strong faith in Islam which would include her horror at being used by mages (and worst, vampires!) in a strange (un-Islamic) ritual ….when she first appeared, she vowed to free the Assassin servants from their bondage to the heretical (form her perspective) Holy Grail ritual.

      Cerberus is the pet of hades and a guardian of the underworld

      One of Heracles labors were to capture Cerberus which Heracles managed to do(with premission from Hades)

      As for why he can summon Cerberus
      The anime skipped over the explanation of his NP so I wont say just in case they decided to explain it later

      I underestimated how much of a potential threat Flat was with easily he infiltrated the police station.

      Also I feel bad for the Police Chief, he keeps getting caught off guard.
