5:20 not quite. I personally think piracy is a behavior. If youre willing to pirate to save money, youre more likely to try to save money for cheaper options, even if its not vis official means. So if figurines and manga and novels are out there, youre more likely to go for non official merch. This doesnt go to the IP holders or authors.

5:30 I don't think piracy always as no negatives impact but in that case it's definitely irrelevant. Streaming revenue is probably pretty far down the list of ways TM and Sony are planning to bank on Strange Fake, pirating the series and throwing a multi at the Richard banner in FGO likely has more impact on whether a second season will be made and its quality than just watching the series on CR.
Pirate sites just ripping from the Crunchyroll and other streaming services feeds anyway. Pirate sites used to rip directly from the broadcast channels and put in their own subs. Pirate sites are getting lazy themselves. If an anime is not on a streaming service the odds it is on a pirate site is near zero.
10:04 my bad bruh💀 For me it's actually only priced at $2.99 for the Mega Fan subscription in my country (50K IDR). So it's not priced as high as other countries especially what happened with the price ranged up but for my case it isn't raised at all. I mean I would pay couple dollars for my animes to be in my PS5, TV, and other devices especially having the Mega Fan subscription allowed me to share other 3 of my friends to watch with their own profile just like Netflix because they allowed 4 screens watching at the same time (that's like 75 cents per month each person).
So $2.99 is a steal for me, and can you blame me for still having the subscription lol. I know you're saying more towards to those who still pays after the price increases lol, so it's just funny to me that someone out there like me knowing the price increases yet in my country it's not been increased and it's still so cheap.
