RANKING ALL OF CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD ANIME SERIES! OCTOBER 2025 UPDATE (DIVINEZ DELUXE FINALS)
What’s up nation? It’s me, the different mother again. We’re back with an update tier list. This is another updated tier list for 2025 of Card Fight Vanguard Divines Deluxe Finals. Oh boy. Sequel has been announced. It’s still titled Divines, I think. Uh it’s uh Gen Maju which is uh mythish. So yeah. So it so it’s pro I think it’s titled Card Fight Vanguard Divines Mythish War. Yeah. I don’t know. The translation did say Star Battle, but yeah, Genju in the anime means mythish. Let’s jump right into this tier list. So I’m going to update this by a little bit. only one though. Okay, I’ve literally cleared up my uh my review on some of these and uh I’m going to redo Divine’s Deluxe Arc. So, yeah, I think I uh praised it a bit too high. Although it’s not as peak as Divine seasons one and two, it’s still a pretty good season. I think many people misjudge it by saying it’s boring. To me, it isn’t. I think it’s uh it’s really intriguing. Really keeps me going to watch it because uh it’s essentially Aina’s growth, you know, uh for himself. It is also a little bit about Erica, but this is mainly focused on Akina. Uh I think we have always misconceptualized uh divines as a whole. This is a journey. We just have Erica as like the secret sauce secret main character for divines, but she’s not really the main character. The real main character still remains our boy Akina. Okay. He is the miracle boy. We’ve seen it in season one. He has been established the miracle boy. All right. So yeah, that’s why he won. And what I love about Divine Deluxe arc is that his character writing, okay, his character growth. People tend to say that he is boring. His character went astray. I don’t think so. It never went astray. It it just so happens that uh he thought about it long and hard and that’s what he concluded. Okay. uh stand with now senpai. That’s that’s that. Okay. Um that’s what I like about it. That’s what I like about his uh conclusion. Uh although the confession is the only one missing, but that’s beside the point. All right. We all know for a fact that uh ever since Divine’s season 1, they have been the uh they have the most or the best relationship. Divine season 1 was really good for Akina and now and then season two is in it enhanced it okay with the backstory. So it was predetermined and uh it was already written that Akina and now have the connection and that’s why they’re their bonds are much stronger. That’s why they enhanced it. They amplified it in divine deluxe arc in which uh for Aena’s case he’s no longer doing this for s uh for his sibling. Hikari and he’s doing this for himself this time. Uh and that is to be with now and it’s simple as that. Okay. Uh we the the thing is though this is personal to him. Uh people just tend to miss out to miss the point that uh this is Akina. Okay. And the fact remains that uh whatever his reasoning may be, we’ll still support him just like uh how many of us in real life. Okay. Yeah. We don’t judge. Okay. That’s the thing. We don’t judge what they want. Okay. That’s why I’m not judging Akina going into that direction being a professional with now. Okay. So, let’s clarify that. I like that. However, the narrative, the plot is not there. I refuse to believe that these two deluxe seasons, deluxe arc and deluxe finals, I refuse to believe that this is not a filler season. This is definitely a filler season. Deluxe arc entirely is a filler season. Okay, it’s building up the next upcoming arc with which is the genu arc, which is the mythish arc. uh paralytic clash instead of the faded clash or destined showdown. It’s now the paralytic clash. The the narrative the plot lost it in the uh deluxe arc. Like there’s no plot essentially. This is mostly about character writing. Um the plot is stronger in seasons one and two. That’s why I love seasons one and two. Character writing is also really really good. That’s what I love about seasons one and two of Divines. Okay. Deluxe Arc doesn’t have that charm. Okay, the plot is not there. It’s about characters. Okay, so I appreciate that, but you know, in order to sacrifice the plot, we need to have a good writing, good character writing. And that’s what happened with Divines Luxark. Although we are all divided, people have their opinions saying that this is terrible, this is bad writing. To me, it isn’t. It’s completely fine. I actually quite enjoyed and kind of liked it, you know. Uh that doesn’t mean I love it, but I still liked it. Okay, so uh Deluxe Arc, Divines Deluxe Arc will have to go below on the A+ tier. It’s still a really, really good season. I think GX is better, so let’s do that. It’s better that way. All right, now let’s move on to Divine Deluxe Finals. Okay, here we go. Uh hopefully I don’t take long re-review what I said because people probably did not watch my review after that reaction. Okay, I am genuinely frustrated that Erica did not win. However, what I love about it, we can’t deny the fact that that fight is probably the best Vanguard has ever put out. Okay, what I saw on X or formerly known as Twitter, uh people complaining that uh there’s nothing hype about this fight. It’s very predictable to them. Yes, it is predictable. That’s the point. However, did we predict that Erica would win? No. We all thought Erica would win. Okay, majority of us, not all of us though, but yeah, majority of us would think that Erica will win. But in that same scenario, if we have that mindset and then Erica wins, people are going to still say, “Oh, it’s still predictable.” What are you serious? Okay, that’s what I did not like about the community’s response into that. Okay, the surprising thing is that Akina won. Okay, Akina won by a miracle. Both of them actually provided a miracle. Not just a miracle, miracles in that fight. And that fight is the most intense I’ve ever seen and the most cinematic fight I’ve ever seen in Vanguard history. Okay, I love the siblings fight in episode 11 of season 1. Right now, it’s kind of on par with Deluxe Finals episode, the finale episode. My friend did say that she is at the edge of her seat. Cannot even chat me because she’s enjoying that intensity, that fights intensity. Okay, that meant a lot. Okay, that means the final episode’s finale fight is effective. Okay, I literally am at the edge of my seat as well. Like you can tell on my reaction, I wasn’t pausing as much because I was so heavily invested in that fight. Okay, that meant a lot. That means that finale fight is very effective and that’s what I love about it. However, the whole progression of Deluxe Finals is just filler. Damn, I’ll say it. It’s filler. I refuse to believe that this is not a filler. This is definitely defo filler seasons. This this has nothing to do with the next season. Okay. There there is a connection which is the mythish. Okay. Uh Kagatu gave riftor to Akina. Kagatu gave a mythish card to now. And then Kagutsu gave another mythish card probably to Mikoto because he challenged Mikoto after they went uh to uh to go to the Wonder Hill Blackout location. And then at the finale of Deluxe Finals, Mitru and Kagatsu fought again offcreen. So that means Mitru is indeed a part of the paralytic clash. Okay. So Mitu is not going anywhere. But I’ll do my review right now. The character writing for AA is essentially done. So that’s why I am genuinely frustrated that they will bring him back in the Paralytic Clash next season, which is ridiculous because I thought we were we were done. Okay. However, this is their redemption for writing AA as another strong main character. His character writing in Divine season 1 and season 2 were already good. Okay, he has a purpose. All right. He has a strong drive motivation to win the faded clash, but the destined showdown, it died down. That’s why he didn’t win against Hikari. Okay, that meant a lot to him as well. That loss meant to him a lot. Okay, it impacted him. But after the finale of season 2, the Lux Arc came in. That’s essentially the point. What next? What next for Aina? Okay, that’s why I love Deluxe Arc. I appreciate this deluxe arc season 3 but deluxe finals after his answer in deluxe arc I think it turned bland. Akina turned me in a way but he never stopped being the miracle boy. Okay. He is the plot armor. It’s been well established since season 1. He is the plot armor. That’s essentially his deck. That’s essentially his avatar, the faded one of miracles. He’s providing miracles. Okay, bro. I am disappointed about uh people uh saying that, “Oh, it’s predictable.” Brother, Aina won. Okay. But if Erica won that fight, you you’ll also say that it’s predictable. To me, it’s a surprise Aina won. Okay. It’s definitely a surprise, but I am also not complaining that Akina won because when I rewatched that episode again and then re-watched seasons uh season 1 episode 11 like bro when I was doing the AMV during that time I saw the difference. Let me break it down. Okay, that fight is it had so many parallels to the siblings fight in season 1 episode 11. Okay, at their first fight, the siblings fight, the sibling banter, they’re fighting for each other. Erica or Hikari, future Hikari is fighting for his brother Akina. Akina is fighting for his sister Hikari. Okay, this time they’re fighting for their uh for themselves. All right, they’re fighting for themselves and they have their own motivation. They have their own goal, their own purpose in life. Okay, and then let me provide more in this breakdown. Let’s go to planet uh Craig. Okay, let’s go to these uh these avatars, Leel and Reszile. All right. At their first fight, uh, Razle and Leo Amorta fought, of course, Hikari Erica lost. Resile or Akina pulled a heal trigger. Remember what happened in the finale of the Lux Finals? He also pulled a heal trigger. That final blow of Razile in season 1, episode 11 was like a spirit bomb, but it’s warm. Okay, it’s like healing Leel. Okay, Leel Amorta. This time, both of their swords broke and Resile when Akna pulled the miraculous heal trigger. Even without the sword, with his wings, he went to Leel Draonus. And this time his wings are shining. They are um shining brightly with those wings. Instead of attacking Leel Draonus, he hugged her. Okay, if you know the lore of Razile and Leo, they are married. Okay, husband and wife. And their story in Planet Cray, the lore is very tragic, okay? They deserve this happy ending. And then that hug, it’s healing, okay? Because if you saw Leel’s expression, her emotions are coming out, okay? her emotions are like genuinely mad or angry against Reszile. And during that fight, Rzzilele is fighting Leel Draonis in his king form. And then during that final turn of Aina, he pulled OG Razi, reverting back to his original self, being Razile. Not the king Razile, but Razile himself. Okay? not as a king but Razile himself and hugged Leel. You know how meaningful that is? That closure for Razile and Leo is probably uh one of the best I’ve seen in this series. Okay. And for those of you saying that this isn’t hype, it is hype. Okay. They’re saying there’s no surprise like uh in Wildress season one, Yuyu pulling uh surprising us, shocking us that he’s uh what else? He overdressed Trickstar to Vayina arcs. His original overdress. Okay, one of his original overdress Verina arcs. And that’s crazy even to me. That’s crazy. And then Dani riding to Dragald. Okay, that’s also crazy. But this one, in this one, I did not expect Akina to ride to his OG Razle, original Razile, the faded one of miracles resiles. Razle instead of the uno, which is the faded king, it’s no una, the faded one of miracles. What I’ve witnessed is cinema. All right, I have my fair share of complaints about this season. Like I said, majority of this season is extremely filler. I love Mikoto’s character arc. However, pulling her back to the paralytic clash is just a genuine why to me. Okay. Like, why would you pull her back in? She has her conclusion with Chris Rain Cadenza. All right. Like, what more do you want from her? Oh my god. I’m genuinely frustrated about that. Okay. Like, why? Why would you pick Migo though out of all the people here? All right. Like I was heavily like I was he I was genuinely happy. I was heavily impressed by that episode. Like seriously, that is probably one of the best episodes I’ve seen as well. But seeing her getting pulled back into another clash after her conclusion arc, supposedly conclusion arc. Yeah. I like I’m done. Like, bro, why? That’s my complaints. All right, of Deluxe Finals. This is essentially filler. All right, I wanted more of Kagatsu and Ruka, but we didn’t get any. My disappointment is immeasurable. Uh if you guys know the lore as well, uh Vase Ruger and Nana Clear are like a thing, but oh my god, Kagatsu and Ruka did not get much screen time like as I expected it to be. Like really? You know, I was happy that Kagatu is coming back in the next season, but like Ruka though, is there no more Ruka? Like come on. Like I said, they never went astray with Aina’s character. But if we have more character writing for Aina, I think uh him winning the deluxe tournament is not a good idea. Okay, I think Erica should have won that because Okay, because he’s living in this world in this timeline where she’s familiar yet unfamiliar with and at the same time uh contemplating in her life. Okay, whether or not uh she deserves to live this freely, this uh this much uh freedom because she doesn’t know what happened in her own world, in her own timeline. Okay, Erica having these questions in her head. Okay, whether or not she’s choosing the right path. Uh we can never know. That’s the thing. We never know. We can never know if our directions are in towards the right direction, towards the good direction. If it’s not for the right direction, at least be a good direction for you yourself, and for the people that you care about, the people that you love. Okay? That’s what I love about Erica and that’s why she should have won because this is her character conclusion. Okay, she should have won that fight. But the thing is people are going to say, “Oh, it’s predictable.” Shut the [ __ ] up. I think that predictability can also enhance the season. Okay, think about it. If Erica won this and then the next season she’s no longer the main character out of all the main characters, okay, that means her conclusion arc for this season is worth it. It would have been worth it if she won that tournament. But the show digress. So Aina won. He pulled miracles after miracles. Okay, the miracle boy did it again. And yeah, that title will never go away. He is the plot armor himself. He is the miracle boy. Okay, so like I said, if he is not done with this character writing, then his conclusion arc for this one should have been not the case. Okay, I think uh this season, like I said, made a bland. I think it was I think the writers uh did that on purpose because he has more for the next season or or more. Okay, but that’s the thing. He He should have never won that fight. He should have never won the tournament because there’s more to his character. Unlike Erica, she’s essentially done. Okay, seeing the teaser for the next arc, uh the next season, the Paralytic Clash, Erica is not there. Seriously, she’s not there. Okay, she didn’t receive a Mythish card because her and Kagatu never actually fought. If you’ve seen the pattern, now senpai now and uh Kagutsu fought in the episode 10 of the Lux arc. Okay, the backstory of Kagatsu. they fought and then that’s when he gave the mythish card and then uh the very uh first uh fight technically of the Lux arc uh season 3 episode 2 is the Kagatu versus Akina fight and that’s when he gave Rifister to Akina and then Mikoto versus Kagatu is offscreen after the Mikoto and Ura episode and then the finale episode of the deluxe finals That’s when Kagu and Mitu fought again offscreen. So if you saw the pattern, those are the only ones qualified to enter the Paralytic Clash because they are now the owners of a Mythish card. Okay. Anyway, um that’s why Erica is not going to be in the next season unless they surprise us again just like season two of Divines. That right there is essentially like one of the peest moments of Divines. If you saw my reaction, bro, like I am literally screaming. Flashback. It’s only one more fight. What? What? Oh, what? No [ __ ] way. Oh [ __ ] Leo Morta is back. Leo Mort is back. Leo Mort is back. Oh my god. Oh [ __ ] This is insane. Okay. Oh [ __ ] I was so damn shocked. I was so surprised by that. Like I wasn’t expecting that at all. And you guys loved my reaction, too. That was a genuine surprise. I I didn’t get spoiled. As mentioned, the finale episode is still poetic. Okay, very poetic to the siblings episode, episode 11 of season 1. It’s very poetic in that certain episode and it’s very cinematic. Like seriously, this I think the finale episode carried this deluxe finals season. Without that finale episode, I think it wouldn’t be worth it because there are so many turns of that fight. Like their decks are like thinning, okay? because of so many turns going back and forth. Okay, because they they always pull a miracle during their turn. Okay, it’s a heavenly bride propaganda like that one commenter said. So many callbacks. That’s why it’s very poetic to that certain episode. So this time hopefully if the next season is going to be the finale of divines and and these casts then I hope we get a poetic ending just like the very first card fight and that is Akina versus now. Okay. And if you remember in that fight now won Akina did not win. If we get that same treatment just like deluxe finals finale then it would be worth it. Okay. I’m just saying that right now. So, yeah, I’m glad that we’re getting a new season because we’re we are living it off with a very uh not so satisfying ending. Although it is earned, Akina has his reasons. Okay? People are saying it’s not earned. You guys wouldn’t know that for a fact. Okay? Because if it is in real life and a certain person won and then you’re going to say, “Oh, he he or she doesn’t deserve it.” Really, really, just because you’re biased towards that one person, doesn’t mean that the other person doesn’t deserve that win. Like I said, I don’t hate Akina. I think the writers just uh wrote him bland for this season. So, I hope we get a redemption in the next season. I am one of Akuna’s defenders. Okay, flashback. I love him. I love his character. Akuna’s character. Seeing him win is still earned, but I think it would have been much more earned if Erica won that fight. Okay, because Erica is now done with this whole shenanigan of divines. So, yeah, she’s moving on with her life. That’s why that’s why I think she deserves that win. All right. Aa on the other hand is still not done. His story is not done because Resza’s story is not done. All right. So that’s why he’s getting pulled back. I’m tired, boss. I’m tired, boss. Anyway, let’s jump right into the ranking. I will be ranking Divine Delux Finals low A. What? I think it’s still satisfying to watch this season overall. Like I enjoyed this season because we got a proper conclusion of Erica and Suo as well. I forgot to mention that uh the additional characters like Ruka is uh pretty enjoyable. I wouldn’t say she’s a great addition. She is a good addition, but she’s not a great addition. Uh I think uh she’s like Tomi in a sense in a way. Yeah, that’s uh that’s essentially Ruka’s character just like Tomari. I think I might change this later on in the future, but for now, I still think it’s uh Yeah. Okay, you know what? I’ll change it. Ah, screw it. I think uh let’s put it high B. There you go. Hi B. All right. Uh B+ tier. I think uh I think it’s still a good season. You’re going to ask me about others like uh Willress. All right. Uh they butchered Megumi’s character in Wdress in Overdress. She had like a good character writing and Overdress season 2 I mean and then Divines Deluxe Arc and Divine’s Deluxe Finals actually carried her character writing like the writers actually did so much justice for Megumi. Even though she lost still character writing wise very good. That’s why I genuinely still like this season. Even though I have my fair share of complaints. Okay, so yeah. Um, enough about that. Like I said, uh, even though this season has its ups, it still has a lot of its downs. So, uh, hopefully you all enjoyed. I y too much about this season because I couldn’t yap as much in my reaction video because it’s almost an hour long. I think I’m satisfied with this list. Overdraw season one is not a strong start. Like I said, it’s it’s pretty bad. Uh that entire season is almost like a filler uh filler season. There you go. I said that to my friend. That’s why I couldn’t recommend this. And then uh Wildress season 3, we have a good conclusion, you know, but it’s not really super good. Wildress season 1 though, I enjoy that just like Divines Deluxe. Like you see what I’m saying? It had so much potential with this season one, Deluxe Arc and Wildress season one. Both of them have their own potential. That’s why I enjoyed both of these seasons. Uh both these seasons are really really good. That’s why I ranked them in the A uh A category, A+ tier, but they fell off. Divine Deluxe Finals fell off. Willress season 2 is interesting to say. And then Will Dress season 3 is just it’s all right. Yeah, that’s essentially it because like I said, Overdress season one started really mid and then Over season 2 came in and said, “Hold my beer. Hold up, let me cook.” Yeah, that’s what happened. That’s essentially what happened. So yeah, anyway, like I said, Overdress season 2. Um, over time I changed my uh score for that. I think I scored it around or my rating was like 8.5. I now uh went ahead and scored it as 9.5 now because the character writing is so damn good. Like the narrative, it has a narrative structure and a character writing. Like wow, they pulled it off with Over season 2 and they uh they didn’t manage to pull it off in Dress season 3 unfortunately. And uh same goes for Divine Stux finals. Okay, it had potential for Divine Stux Arc, but it fell off. As much as I enjoyed this season, I don’t think it deserves the divine ranking or the great ranking, it’s still a good season. Very enjoyable season with its filler episodes. Anyway, that is it for this video. I hope you all enjoyed. Uh you can agree or disagree with my uh uh ranking but this is my ranking. Okay, this is my tier list. So opinions are subjective. This is not an objective ranking. Okay, this is just my opinion subjective ranking. All right, there’s no objective ranking in this scenario. All right, if you love V series, good for you. I don’t like it. All right, it’s simple as that. All right, that’s it for me. Thank you guys so much for watching. I y too much. Uh I just wanted to uh share my opinion because I couldn’t properly share it in my reaction. Uh I think uh people also uh misjudged my uh my review about Akina or you know critique about Aina and uh the the overall plot of Divines Deluxe and them saying that I hate Aina is uh you guys are prejudging what I essentially said in my review. Okay, I did say I love Akina. I like Akina’s character a lot. Like a lot. Okay. I like seriously I’m not building Resile if I don’t like Aina nor his deck. Okay. I literally properly built Reszile his deck. I bought three Risters. Essentially, I built a whole deck for Aina for Resile. Okay. Does not does that not speak volume? That’s why I’m also buying Erica’s master deck set, okay? Because I genuinely love Erica. Even though her deck is not really really super strong, I still love the the deck and I still love Erica. Okay, it it’s simple as that. My reasoning is simple as that because I’m building these decks above Sagura because I love Mir. Okay, it’s simple as that. All right, I’m building these decks because I love these characters. Okay, does that not speak volume? Okay, I am not hating on Aina. You guys literally jumped on that bandwagon. You guys jumped on that conclusion that I hate Aina. I do not hate Aina. Okay. All right, that is it for me. Thank you guys so much for watching. I’ve said enough. Uh, I I’m pretty sure I’m I’m forgetting a lot of things about my critiques, but that’s it for me. All right, I’m not going to yap too much anymore because uh it’s already 2:24 a.m. All right, I’m going to do another video which is about my about the game um Master of Garden. Not Card Fight though. It’s uh the Eminence of Shadow. So yeah. Anyway, thank you guys so much for watching. I’ll be seeing you guys next season. Well, trailer first though and then next season. Uh yeah. Anyway, I’ll see you guys then. Redemption arc rockina please. And please right now as a good character, okay, she has lost her character growth ever since divine Deluxe essentially. So yeah. Uh anyway, thank you guys so much for watching. See you guys then. Peace out.
