We’re back with Card Fight Vanguard Divines Deluxe Finals. This is now the final episode for this season, this series. We might move on from divines, no longer divines because we’re going to introduce new characters, new main character. Probably Kanami because she’s been teased. Or probably she’s going to be one of the main characters but not the main main character. You know what I’m saying? So yeah. Anyway, um the title for this one is uh Reach for Your Dreams, right? So yeah. Anyway, uh AMV about to come out later on, few hours after I upload this reaction. I’m recording this intro once again before I go to sleep. All right. So that I don’t yap at the beginning of the session of the episode. So yeah, let’s jump right into this. Uh I’m sad to see this go, but uh seeing that on my channel, you know, this series has been dying down. It’s not as hype is not it’s not as, you know, good on my channel. So yeah, uh very unfortunate, but it is what it is. I mean, yeah, I mean, I can’t control my views and I can’t control my likes. So yeah, uh it depends because uh if you look at the ratio right now, Dian Nazinon and Gridman series have like the best uh views and likes. Well, when it comes to views, it’s not as good as Vanguard, but when it comes to likes, they have the highest. Almost 200 views has like 40 likes. That’s insane. Last episode for Vanguard, the Aina versus Mitu episode has 30 plus likes, almost 40, but a thousand views. Like you can see the ratio there. So yeah, but anyway, uh you guys won’t even care. Anyway, so uh I’m just saying like you know it’s just weird seeing that ratio, but anyway, um let’s just jump right into this. There’s no ED for this one, unfortunately. Um, however, if I do hear VWP’s, you know, opening song, hell yeah. Trump Card Kifuda. Yeah, you know it. I’m going to Anyway, let’s jump right into this. Uh, I’m not going to prolong this any longer. Right. Before I do say anything though, I want and we all want, we all need Erica to win. Break the thumbnail curse, Erica. All right, because last time Aina is, you know, the thumbnail and uh yeah, it it it’s it didn’t happen. So, yeah. Anyway, uh we are hoping Erica will win this because yeah, Reach for Your Dream is the title. Mildo Siblings again. Here we go. Uh, it’s not the poetic end as I suspected it to be. You know, Akina versus now. It’s not that, but hopefully there’s like um, you know, a call back to their first fight, you know, Aina versus now. Like, they are the final final, but we don’t get to see them card fight, but they are the the final uh ones declar uh declaring that they’re going to fight Stand Up Vanguard and then boom. And that’s all I want. That’s all I want. Yeah. Anyway, the most needed one right now is for them to be a couple. Aai and now senpai. But unfortunately, it’s a card game, so obviously they’re not going to do it. Yada yada yada. So, anyway, let’s uh jump right into this. Uh once again, I will be picking up the Erica Master Deck set. I need that [ __ ] So, yeah. Anyway, uh before we begin, we cannot forget the comment of the week. That is it for the comments of the week. You know, I expected more from it, but I feel like uh because the hype from um a no uh Yuyu versus Miteru was like super super well made, you know. I actually enjoyed that. like there’s intensity in that fight, but this fight is more like hopeful and uh yeah, I mean I get it, but still uh it didn’t have like it didn’t have like a similar impact where it’s really hype, but they hyped up the fight, but you know, it’s not really that hype for me. But still, I enjoyed it nonetheless. So, yeah, hopefully hopefully this finale will wrap things up super well. Okay, I expected more from this series to have 13 episodes to have the AA versus now senpai episode, but nope, they’re not going to do that. And uh I’m pretty sure they’re not going to make them a couple. That’s how you know card games work. Vanguard works. I have yet to see a card game anime that has an actual romance, you know, a good romance story. I’m going to have I’m going to review this later so that you’ll know my critiques and the positives in this uh season of uh Card Fight Vard Divines Deluxe. I have my fair share of complaints for this season because it’s so short and some of the narrative them say their ride line brings back memories on the OG divine season. Two new units already. Erica guarding already. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Miracle boy. calling new units already as well. Yeah. We’re hearing the bell of their wedding. New wedding resil for that long just to get a draw. Damning the one which is crazy. I dedicate this wind to you. We got a new MC. The moon is just beginning. That’s it. That’s it for the end. Oh, a few months later. Oh god, we’re getting an epilogue. Oh. Oh, people were talking about this. Mythish is going to be the next like ant uh yeah antagonist, right? What? What? Paralytic Clash. Oh my god, we have like a faded clash next season. Oh my god, that’s how they end this season. Yeah. Oh my god. That’s how it So, we’re getting we’re going back to like supernatural elements. I’m glad. But am I glad about this uh finale that Aina won? No. Oh, they’re calling it the Blood Moon arc because it’s like in Planet Cray, right? Yeah. Uh I I barely know the lore, but I’m just hearing a few things about the lore. Okay. Oh, no. H I’m reading some of the comments right now. It really is an incredible fight between the siblings, but to me, I feel like the siblings fight in the very first season of Divines is still my favorite. But the thing is though, I feel like this time would have been different, you know, Aina losing. I had so much expectations for Erica’s win. and so much expectations for this finale only to know that it’s a buildup for the next season and that is the paralytic clash. Apparently, it’s a blood moon arc. Oh my god. Going to bet the man in throne is Akida’s dad from Erica timeline. It’s just I can’t prove it. Yeah, could be. We’ll see. We don’t know. Uh what day is my birthday? Uh because the day of my birthday is their anniversary. uh specifically their anniversary day uh from 2011, January 8, 2011. Uh next year’s uh my next year’s birthday is Thursday. So apparently they’re probably going to do it January 10 or January 3rd. I’m excited for the next season. I’m going to react to the trailer as well. You guys would want that. So I’m going to react to it. Okay. Paralytic Clash. As if two previous clashes weren’t enough, right? Divine series keeps on going. I hope it’s no longer called Divines. I hope it’s something different. Card fight Vanguard Mintish. No. Okay, let’s let’s proceed with the review. Yeah, people are commenting about the paralytic clash over this fight. Okay. Uh okay. It is a very big cinematic episode. However, am I disappointed? A little bit. Yeah, I am a little bit disappointed because like I said, I really did think Erica will win this fight. I think she has more uh she has a better reason to win this. Okay, Broden used Amorta, but thank god he pulled through. My champ confess and kiss now already. Apparently, it didn’t happen. Bushy Road Vanguard because apparently these characters are still relevant for the next season. Owners of the Mythish cards because now Senpai now has a Mythish card. Aina has a Mythish card. Erica doesn’t have a Mythish cards or No, just a single card would do. Yeah, she doesn’t have a Mythish card, but yeah. Anyway, uh I’m not I probably going to ramble on this uh sequel. So, let’s jump right into the review. Okay, characters. What I enjoyed about Deluxe Arc in general, the Deluxe Arc and Deluxe Finals, is that the character writing is uh a bit more enhanced. I love what I do. I do love what they did with Megumi the most and I do love uh what they did with uh Yuyu. Okay, Yuyu embraced his uh femininity and um you know it could mean something to you know being you know what I’m talking about. But that also doesn’t mean that he is gay. There you go. I said it. All right. That’s what I like about that certain aspect is that uh you know he might be feminine but at the same time he’s still you know not gay. Okay. There’s no he didn’t conclude the fact that he might be that person. Okay. Um, which I like because that’s the thing that I uh want uh certain people to understand is that if you’re a guy, if you’re a man, and then there’s like a feminine side of you, you might conclude that you’re already that you’re already uh gay. But no. Okay. He it just so happens that you have a feminine side to you even though you are a masculine person, a guy on the outside. Okay. Cosplays exist. And at the same time, it happened in my Dress Up Darling season 2. If you guys know what that episode is, that is one of my favorite episodes because he might be feminine, but still he’s not gay. Okay, he has a certain hobby and that is cosplaying female characters. Okay, he he likes to put on makeup, but that doesn’t mean that he’s gay because he had a girlfriend. Okay, so yeah, I like that. That’s what I love about Yuyu’s character in this one. They did not ruin Yuyu’s character and that’s what I enjoyed the most for Yuyu in this arc. Uh Yuyu embraced it. So that’s what I like. Okay, that’s what I enjoyed about his character in this season and he’s moving forward. As for Megumi, they did not disappoint with her character writing. I think she has the most redemption arc. Um she was done so poorly in Wdress. I liked her in overdress but then done poorly in wheeldress. She is like we like you guys say a jobber in wild. Oh my god they hated her in wheeldress and I really didn’t like that. Like why would you do that? Um but I enjoyed and like her character writing in this particular season. Okay. Uh she has so much uh development in redemption arc in this deluxe arc, deluxe finals uh season and uh yeah even though she lost uh against Aina still uh she she didn’t cry or anything she has grown. She has developed so much. She uh and honestly there’s no need for you to cry Megumi because you’re you’re fighting the the future champion at that point. So yeah, I love Megumi’s writing. Mire Mire is moving forward with her uh you know character with her own goal and that’s what I love about Mer uh because after Overdress I mean ever since Overdress and then Wildress and now Deluxe uh Deluxe Arc and Deluxe Finals I enjoyed it both and her character writing is just that good. So yeah, uh I think Mure is still peak character writing, but Megumi can be considered peak character uh character peak character writing as well because of the certain uh season of Divines Deluxe Finals and Deluxe Arc. So yeah, anyway, um let’s see narrative uh plotline. Okay, this is where where things get tough. I still enjoy the tournament arc. There’s nothing there’s no need to worry about the narrative. It’s all about character writing. And that’s the strong point about Carti Vanguard is that uh we focus less on the plot. We focus more on the character and that’s what I like about it. Okay. Um there’s no more for me to say other than it’s a tournament arc. What more for what more is there to say? So yeah. Uh anyway, let’s jump into the critiques. The bad ones. Okay. Uh, I wouldn’t necessarily say bad ones either. I’d say just critiques in general. Let’s start off with the big bang. The big one, Aina. Oh god. Okay. Um, he was done really, really well in seasons one and two. Super well actually. Like he essentially lost his character like with his journey ever since season 1. his character is like uh soulless at that point because he has nothing for himself but instead he is driving his uh his own wish he he has his own goal for someone else and that is Hikari and then now senpai like he has nothing else for himself but for other people okay and that’s what I liked about his character writing He’s flawed. Okay. But for this season, I like Deluxe arc, you know. I really did. Uh I do like Aina’s character writing because he’s still lost in thought. He’s still so lost. uh you know uh looking for a certain aspect you know a certain dream that he might want to achieve and a certain uh dream for himself not for anyone else uh and that’s when he realized that uh he wants to stand up with now senpai okay it it didn’t have to be any specific grand reasoning but I like that reasoning Okay, it’s personal to him and that’s what I like. Okay, you might say that, oh, it’s bad. It’s fan service. I do agree. However, in real life, there are people like that. Okay, you might say it’s it’s bad. It’s flawed. But that’s the thing. They are flawed. Okay, so like I said, this is not a bad thing for me. It’s just a critique. Okay. Uh I do understand people’s like, you know, reasoning as to why this is bad for them because you can’t relate. Okay? You can’t sympathize. You can’t relate to Ainus reasoning. Okay? And that’s okay. There’s no need for you to sympathize or relate. But the thing is, you just have to understand, okay? You just have to understand that that’s what he chose, okay? That’s his reason, okay, to win this fight and or to win this tournament in general. And that’s uh his goal, okay, for me, I have my own goal. But can you relate? No. Some of you can, some of you can’t. That’s the thing. Because it’s personal to me. All right? I have my own goals. So does Akina. So do you. Okay? You might have your own goal, but that’s not my goal. And I might not be able uh to understand it or I might not be able to sympathize with you, but I can understand you. Okay? And that’s the thing. You just have to understand it. All right? And that’s what I like about Akina’s character. However, it’s grown weak to me. It has grown weak. Like it kind of faded in Deluxe Finals. In Deluxe Arc, I liked it. In Deluxe Finals, I I I didn’t and I kind of did. So, it’s average. As for Erica, Deluxe Arc is like her establishment and, you know, her chance to prove herself. She wants to live to the fullest. And that’s the that’s the thing because in Divines, she has been selfless like her brother. Okay, that’s what I like about Erica’s character writing. She has been so selfless, not doing anything for herself, like like Aina. And that’s why I like Erica the most. Her character writing in this specific deluxe season, Deluxe Arc and Deluxe Finals has been really really good. All right, this is for herself, not for anybody else. She’s doing this for herself. Okay? Because unlike Akina, he wants to stand up with now senpai. Erica, on the other hand, has that same reasoning, but this time has a stronger reason, has a strong drive for herself because she wants to live to the fullest. Okay? And that’s great writing. However, like I said, writing is subjective. Okay? Our opinions are subjective. This is just my personal opinion. Okay? Don’t no need to rant over the comment section saying, “Oh, you’re wrong because I hate this certain writing because of that.” Yeah. Yeah. You you hate that. But I I do kind of like it though. So, it’s subjective. Okay. Like I said, I have my critiques and that is plotline is bad and episode count bad. Should I go over the details? I’m going to have too much if that’s the case though. Uh but yeah, I’m going to overgeneralize it. But yeah, they’re just bad because runtime and establishment, okay, like certain progressions need to be need to be uh progressed even further, but didn’t happen because of runtime and a certain episode count. So, that’s out of the gates. And I thought for sure we’re done with Aina’s story. Apparently, probably not. I thought we were done. I think this whole Divines arc in general, Divine season one all the way to Divines Deluxe Finals has been about Erica. I refuse to believe otherwise. This is all about Erica because she’s been through so much and she is the secret main character, the secret sauce of Divines. She is the secret charm of divines and that has never strayed away. They have never strayed away from that. Okay. All right. H god. Um there’s so many things for me to yap about this, but I don’t want to say anymore because I might have to uh go. I might have to uh release this video over an hour long. If that’s the case, uh you you might not even watch that because you guys don’t want to hear me yap about this. But yeah, anyway, um I will be giving Card Five Vanguard Divines Deluxe Finals an 8.5 out of 10. Yeah. Uh it’s a it’s a it’s an okay finale because it’s a buildup for a certain season, you know. Uh I would have appreciated it if this certain season were to be as its own like no certain buildup. There is a buildup an establishment already like Kagatu giving away a mitish for now senpai and then yeah so oh god uh I’ll save the speculation for later on. Uh, I’ll probably forget about my speculation, but yeah. All right. Uh, I’ll say it. Uh, those mythish cards are just like probably one copy per deck, unlike Kagutsu. Kagatu might be the orchestrator, but we’ll see. Uh, but all those mythish cards are only one copy in their deck. A has one, which is fister, and now senpai has one. So yeah, could play a bigger role. And uh don’t even get me started with now senpai’s character, okay? Uh we need more of her character writing, okay? I’m not I’m not going to criticize her more, but we need more. I hope she’s justified in the next season because she’s going to play a bigger role because in this season, she doesn’t have a bigger role. She doesn’t have a big role actually. So, I hope in the next season we’ll get her um bigger role. All right. Anyway, um Mitru being Mu as always, so there’s no need for me to say anything. Ura being Ura, nothing for me to say. I love both of their characters already. Uh what else? Um what else is there? Su. Well, I’ve already said Sua’s character in Delux Arc, so I think there’s no need for me to say anything. But yeah, uh these are just the highlights, I guess. So, uh yeah. Uh Ruka. Oh my god, Ruka. I totally forgot about her. You see what I’m saying? That speaks volume. Oh my god. Uh Ruka is just being her. Okay. No, nothing, you know, nothing completely grand about her character. just have fun like Tomari. That’s it. That’s Ruka. Okay, so there’s no need for me to criticize her, but just like Tomari kind of forgettable, but still uh I enjoyed Ruka’s character. All right. I’m not going to lie, because I have Razile. So to me personally, you know, I have a bond stronger with uh Aina Akina’s deck as well because I have Resile. I have I built the Resile deck because I love Aina and I love Aina’s deck. So that’s why I built him. That’s why I’m also getting Erica’s master deck set. I’m going to build her with Leo Draonus and uh etc. But uh like I said, uh I have a stronger bond with Resile. So that’s why I I was kind of rooting secretly for Aina to win as well. But I have a stronger uh you know I have a stronger uh what do you call this? I have a stronger um root I have a stronger rooting for Erica because I just love her character more than Aina. So yeah. Uh next year, uh I will probably be on our hometown by that point because I have already graduated by that time. All right. Because there’s a few things for me to do here in uh Manila.
