Not because they hate women, don’t get me wrong, but this is the most obvious example of how new gen anime and new gen shownen just keeps abandoning old tropes. Like the fact that she’s a woman is irrelevant here to the point I’m trying to make because the trope that I’m talking about here is that of okay taking the higher ground like the main character just reaches their hand and helps someone like they will probably still do that because the energy in the room does suggest that she will probably go with them but that doesn’t mean that Nudo was just going to by you know do the whole Naruto reach their hand in and forgive her it’s all okay like it gives the show way more realism this Hey, again, not the best example with which I could I could make this argument here, but I hope I got the point across. I love that we’re fixing more and more tropes from old gen shownen in order to give new shows, I know, a fresher vibe, a fresher feel. Well, she got one. Now, stand down. [Music] Oh my god. I’m very happy about it. I feel like it’s going to be her backstory. like it will probably be an entire episode. She feels like the kind of character that would have a long and complicated backstory or not complicated but tragic in on multiple levels. And the fact that she also has I don’t know the boots that are part of the Watchmen series means that they could throw even more time at the backstory because it’s not just about her and her involvement in the story. It also connects to the to Rudo to the sphere. So yeah, that’s my prediction for the next time and I hope I’m right because I’m really curious. I know I shouldn’t be, but I want to see the level of I don’t know disaster that you need to go through to end up with this way. Yeah, I know it’s not the best reason to be curious, but sue me. Now, besides that, I love the the fight fight. It’s a stretch. The Ramsay, I know, catching everyone in the ropes and then spinning them through the ground. And the fact that they brought up the drawing sooner than I thought. Like I said, I love when stuff is being set up in advance and then used in a I don’t know smart way in and in a way that makes sense. But by far again, my favorite part of the episode was the whole moment with Rudo lashing out. Again, I know it’s weird to say that him pummeling a woman was your favorite moment, but I’m talking about what it meant for the shownen genre, not what it actually was. Like I said, it’s just another proof that new gen shonen is kind of leaving behind the old tropes that sometime were a bit much. Like to this day, there are so many jokes about Taknojutsu, about how Naruto just shifted a person’s entire life’s conviction with, I don’t know, a twominut speech about his swing. Like, I’m exaggerating there to make my point, but you you know what I mean? Like there are moments when characters act too inhuman in a way, like they’re too perfect to the point that you can barely believe that someone would do that. And again, it’s for a reason. It’s to try to transmit a message to make us better. But from time to time, especially in a world so messed up as trash world, it’s pitting to actually see something like this happen, you know. But because in the grand scheme of things, I’m still relatively new to YouTube and to the online medium, I really want to cover all my bases. So I’ll So I’ll say it as clearly as I can. It doesn’t matter who was there for Rudo to pommel. It could have been her. It could have been engine. It could have been a cat, a dog, a worm, a scorpion, whatever. It’s about what the scene represents as a whole in terms of I don’t know how Rudo was feeling about an enemy. That’s all. And with that little asterisk done, I hope you enjoyed the reaction.
