The Water Magician Ep 12: Ryo vs Inferno Magician

Let’s look into the eyes of a man who’s bitten off more than he can chew. Now, of course, we wanted to see the Infernal Magician fight Rio, but that’s not what I really want to talk about. I want to talk about how this show gets friendship right. Rio is ready to kill Oscar. Look at this photo and tell me otherwise. When Abel pulls up to the fight, he tries to use reason and Rio is not hearing him. He’s like, “Bro, I will freeze you, too. Get out of my way.” It’s hilarious because the Inferno magician is also short-tempered. He couldn’t even take a second to ask a question. He just assumed. But even after Rio’s like, “I’m not listening to you, Abel. I’m going to kill this man.” Abel says, “No, I will risk my life to stop you from doing something that’s going to ruin yours.” Yes, it could have started a war, but I really feel like Abel was more so trying to stop Rio from doing something he would regret later. One of my favorite things about the show is how Rio was always taking digs at Abel. It’s extra funny because everybody holds Abel to such a high standard and Rio’s just like, “Dude, he’s just a bro.” This fight was really dope, but I have to retract my statement. Oscar is not on par with Rio. He’s not even close. I don’t even think Rio tried. I do like how Sarah and Rio’s relationship is developing. It was hilarious how she could tell he was thinking about her age and she’s like, “Oh, I’m just 200.” I enjoyed the water magician immensely, and I might pick up the light novel. You know the drill.
