What’s up, guys? Back in today with another reaction to Sakamoto Day season 2 or part two. This time of episode 9. Another fantastic episode of this uh really awesome arc so far. Absolutely loving the premise. Um, last episode we saw Akira kind of I don’t know if I said like fulfill her potential, but just like shows what she was kind of made of and how she was made by her mom who seemed to have a pretty close relationship to Sakamoto back in the day as well as um Nagamo. And of course, we got this whole situation going on. But um yeah, it was quite a brutal scene to end off on last week, wasn’t it? But yeah, do let me know what you guys think about that. That is a good point though. Like what do you guys think about these like Twitter accounts and such that are like just like fan pages and sometimes pretend to be the famous person that like it’s quite crazy, isn’t it? It’s crazy behavior. So yeah, I believe these guys are scouting Akira, aren’t they? she they’re trying to bring her into their organization. I think I feel like that girl with the um again I’ll call her Mayoi cuz I can’t remember her name, but the the girl with the Sakamoto plushy feel like she probably fits them quite well. Fits their group. [Music] Sunny days. But it’s a bit of a shame, isn’t it? That uh Lynn got left out got left out this whole second half of the season. But her [Music] [Music] sunny days. I’ve got to say like I really love this opening, but I think this is also one of the openings that like I mean they all I always say about Japanese anime like they all like fit the the media they’re representing so well but like that really does capture second dates right there doesn’t that open visually and soundwise all of the songs have pretty much in the series both the openings and endings. You ready to b like a butterfly and sting like a bee? Literally like fingered that guy in the neck. Rather be an assassin than see my friends die. That strong nails right there. Yeah, I’ I’d say like a good representation of that would be like a butterfly seeing a butterfly beautifully flying along and then someone chucking some red red paint or blood and the butterfly getting stained by it. Staining the butterfly is beautiful. Wow. Holy crap. Uh yeah, staining the butterflies like beautiful colors with just blood so you can’t see it beauty anymore. I wish I could read Japanese. Evidently, I assume that it’s Akira’s mom at the top of this little contest we got here. She seems to have gone, judging from the shots you saw in absolutely perfect. Um, which one of these is Sakamoto and which one of these is Nagumo? I can’t read KJI at all. So, I’ve got no idea. This one looks quite recognizable. I think this KJI is used in a few other kangi is maybe why it’s recognizable to me, but um got no idea. And we’re going to assume that the middle one’s Sakamoto and the one on the right’s Nagamo. Either way, they both got pretty uh pretty destroyed here. I saying it doesn’t you don’t win you lost. So I guess it doesn’t really matter. I don’t believe in that. Yeah. Good point. It’s just training. Doesn’t matter if you uh Doesn’t matter if you uh hit all your shots in training if you’re going to miss the real thing. She doesn’t take She doesn’t strike me as the type of person that would miss during a real mission. But yeah, just a thing. Nice. Oh, so that’s not her daughter. Nice. Okay. And she’s actually looking for her. Why would she be here of all places? Well, I guess that could make sense if she’s training. She’s one of the examiners or something. You came to the wrong place then. You absolutely came to the wrong place then. Not here to kill. It’s the whole point. That is the funny thing with the shows now. And I think that is intentional fact that they literally got assassins. Their job is to kill. Yeah, we do everything but kill anyone. I was going to say this guy has done [ __ ] all so far. I thought it’d be a bit more help considering he was one of these special entrances or whatever. A monkey. Why though? Why you get that? Why? It was a handsome guy who fed him like a lizard. Cold blooded killer. All it took was one look. Must been some uh some competition for his what? for his wife. kind of. Oh, that doesn’t make him an attack. I guess an assassin otaku. Now he’s anything but that nowadays. Yeah, you’re totally wrong. He’s a totally different guy. Feel like she might hate him. She met him now. Imagine Imagine all of those years obsessing over person that doesn’t really even exist anymore. Then you meet a hero. It’s that classic thing, isn’t it? When you meet your heroes, it’s never what you expect. Never lives up to expectations. Even more so in this instance eyeball. Got to become his bro. Let’s go, Shin. How wrong you are. How wrong you are, woman. Share what though? You’ve got nothing to share except for your feeling. Wow. Buddha Sakamoto right there. Brilliant. God Sakamoto. Man, she is literally like every Twitter troll, every [ __ ] discussion forum stickler for the law ever, isn’t she? Jesus Christ. I get those people in my videos every now and then. God, is it like [ __ ] hell? Okay. He’s doing well, isn’t he? Better than anyone else by far I’ve ever seen up against her. How the [ __ ] she get up there? She really does like her weapon is right out of [ __ ] like Devil May Cry or something, isn’t it? I think there is a weapon really similar to that. I can’t quite remember that. Is this guy in the green going to do anything? Probably in his best interest not to maybe not worth it. Looks like he’s actually just kind of awkward. Oh dear. At least it doesn’t come from a bad place. Fair enough. Fair enough. But that’s going to make him even more shy. Don’t touch me, you filthy bastard of germs. Oh [ __ ] Get here. I got to ask where’s the ammo coming for that thing? Is it just like infinite? Got the bunny ears. Shocked. Infinite hour. Fish. Oh [ __ ] Just be more aware of your surroundings. I’ll just let her die. What is she doing? Oh. Oh, I see. She’s literally prepared to die for that. And this girl’s got a rude awakening in common. Her whole personality is just she’s going to have a midlife crisis. I think her whole personality is just going to like that. Yu-Gi-Oh mind crush for all the wrong reasons. It’s a shame she can’t read his mind. Oh, he already I think he already kind of is anyway. We don’t need any object to tell him. Oh, damn. Holy crap. She just got [ __ ] blasted. Oh crap. That’s like a puppet. Yeah. He just got Yeah. So, there’s some slight input lag as you’d expect with stuff like that. How many miles away are they from each other? I do hate that when I’m playing like when I I don’t play many first person shooters or anything, but when I do when you shoot and it’s like a half a second later, it’s like oh disgusting. Such a short amount of time can have such a big effect. game play. There is impressive technology, isn’t it? bed to be hit. They took his own thing off, didn’t he? He kind of is a bit of a zombie. getting lectured in his [ __ ] VR game. I’d be so pissed. Yeah, that’s the big basically GTA right now. Just [ __ ] kill them all. Just kill these guys. That guy’s face just looked like he would die instantly. I don’t know about you guys, the guy spoke about love with the beard there. He just has the face of someone that’s just like going to get killed as soon as he appears. Just I don’t know what how or why. He’s just got that kind of look. Oh crap. Oh my god, that’s a cool ass weapon. That is Holy [ __ ] Well, that’s Can you call that a weapon? That’s like 10 But 20 weapons. Oh my god. Now she’s using a Oh my god, this thing is ridiculous. There going to be no examiners left to take the exam. And we just got to leave him. He’s, you know, he’s dead is the thing here. Are we just going to leave this guy to die? Surely not. Yeah, can’t just do that. This guy’s 100% dead if we just leave him here. How is Shin’s ability going to work on this kid, though? I have a feeling it won’t. He’s overused anyway. Even if he didn’t, I wonder how this would work. Let’s go. challenger. Okay. I love that. I love that ability. That’s really cool. But um yeah, I kind of want to see what would happen when like it’s a shame Shin used up all his time earlier pretty much cuz I wonder what would happen here. He’s got no mind to read. Like he’s got no like this thing has got no subconscious to read, right? So I think it’s almost a good thing that he ran out because if he went into this thinking like yes, I’ll just read his mind. read his movements and it didn’t work. That would be fatal, right? So, it’s probably a good good job that it is right now actually. Okay. So, I I assumed they had like an undercover agent. I mean, they do with this thing, but like an actual kind of human functional undercover agent, not like a puppet, which is extremely obvious. Uh, and hence he’s been outed literally as soon as we saw the guy introduced, I guess. But, um, yeah, really awesome. And I’m loving this arc so far. Absolutely loving it. And I’m glad the Mayoi girl ends up kind of, uh, the fan girl ends up coming onto our side as well. I do like her. As much as she is crazy individual, I do like her. Okay. So, we got next week. We still got Oh, yes. Netflix, isn’t it? We have credits, don’t we? We have got a little bit at the end here, though. It looks like probably actually if they were here for a long That looks like we’re eating pretty well. Really nice. You know what? This reminds me a little bit of Digimon. There’s the snake. There’s the snake. I’ve never ate the snake. I I don’t think I don’t think many people have. Um I I got to question this. I was going to ask you, but I didn’t. Why is it like when we do have this the things here the um credits um why oh this is for the dub. Okay. I was going to say like why is this why is this guy so important? He just gets one he gets a whole page to himself. Is he that important to the dub? If you guys are if you guys watching the dub, let me know if this guy’s like a really good voice actor because why is it that this guy just gets a whole page for himself? Feels a bit unfair. Now, um but yeah, thank you guys for watching. Uh again, another great episode here. Um yeah, we were eating the snakes as we did see at the end here. I would like to We keep getting these guys in the air segments which is nice. I would like to um I mean we’re not going to but I would like to see even more of like what they’re up to right now in their kind of off time. Um, not massively important though, was it? But, um, yeah, great episode. Some really nice action here between Shin and, uh, the fan girl. Was a nice fight between those two. And I’m again, I’m really glad she actually kind of ended up joining us towards the end here. Absolutely love the end of this episode. I can’t really even say why. I just I just love the idea of like this control from afar, like, and just how ridiculously strong this thing seems as well. Um, yeah, I don’t know. I don’t really know how to explain it, but I just I love this concept right here. Um, yeah. Let me know what you guys thought about this episode in the comment section. Another absolute banger. Um it’s big big shame honestly that the season’s going to end soon. I’m hoping there’s going to be an announcement for season 2 straight afterwards. There there sometimes is for really popular shows.
