The group fights their way through the forest to reach the straightom lord, learning that it was once gentle before the nether lord’s presence corrupted it. While stopping to rest for the night, Boxo takes new forms and provides the group with ramen noodles and burgers to eat. The following night, Kikoya provides meals of her own, and the group learn that fire is forbidden in this straight as it does serious harm to the straight lord. The group builds a public bath out of wood made from the trees and Boxo is placed outside while Boten and Kuryata stand guard to keep the men from peeping as the girls enjoy the baths. The forest suddenly catches fire. Someone is attempting to burn the stratum lord which could destroy the transformed humans. As they continue to remove trees, Hulami instructs Boxo to pour gas on the fire to clear out all the trees and move it away from the stratum lord. Boxo protects everyone with his barrier as the fire stops, but he loses lots of points. The others give Boxo money in return. Reaching the stratum lord, everyone wonders if the big tress is really dead. And to confirm it, Lambis punches it to undo the transformations, but this awakens a ghostly woman named Kaolings, who is responsible for the fire and is working for the Nether Lord. Despite being a ghost, the group managed to defeat her using magic and capture her. The transformed humans are returned to normal and the group is finally able to return to the Clearflow Lake Stratum. Finally, Boxaw waits for customers to arrive, but no one comes as he realizes that Kiko has opened a vegetable stall just on the other side. As such, he transforms into a dessert vending machine and attracts everyone, only for Kikoyu to sell the sweet potato the next day and steal his customers once again.
