Yup. The people at Kyoani are not normal. And I mean that in the BEST complimentary way possible.
They didn't need to make the whole thing by hand and shoot it in real life. But they did. Plus those 8+ split screens. I can't even imagine the amount of brain storming and planning and animation effort that must have taken. The whole episode was amazing.
The new methods they come up with to push the boundaries of today's animation power and break their own records to set new ones, is something else. I BOW KYOANI.
