Towards the end she gets used to his OP ability and basically says "meh". I agree wit the other commenter that it's ok but it does have some funny scenes.
This is like trying to make saitama from one punch a serious ccharcter/anime with how op he is. He can just twll any enemy to die? That more op than saitama himself or anyone else in the history of anime. Theres no way to make any situation auspensful. I bet this anime is low rated af.

I prefer the sub version of Takatou because his voice sounds colder and rigid. It's like you can tell he had no emotion when he says die
