Honestly i don't know why we are even comparing these two anime , there is no competation , code geass was and is the best anime to ever exist , i am not saying that cote is bad or anything , cote is one of my top five fav anime but code geass surpasses all the competation through a major difference.

This is why writing is subjective. It's the only way COTE could ever hope on being in the same tier as Code Geass.
