Fucking Kate showed up with the butler and started kicking ass! I love her, best mom, she’s a blast, should have sent her after the kids instead.
It’s sort of interesting how this noble vampire organization gets their pants pulled down in almost every fight and barely scrapes by, like we’ve already seen Dali go down a couple of times. I like the more balanced take after all the ridiculous power fantasy I’ve been consuming lately.
And the art’s so pretty, and I’m actually pretty attached to all the babies at this point, they’re all sweet if a bit noisy. I didn’t realize Johannes got taken with the kids until the end, I missed that somehow during the fight.
I’m glad it’s back, I was really looking forward to this before it started and was sad it went on break, I suppose not many people will end up watching this one
So, there are humans in this world too.
Pendulum Nursery is pretty funny.
I like how the dads were like “We can’t kill the officers!” while Kate comes in blasting with her gun 😂 I don’t know if I believe *all* of the officers were simply hospitalized, lol.
Glad for a bit more action, although it was quite remarkable how that fire held no danger over anyone unless it was Abraham directly blowing it on someone 😅 They’re standing inches from massive flames, tossing around burning furniture, and not taking in a single whiff of smoke, apparently.
How many episodes are we getting overall? 12? We’re likely to start really digging into explanations regarding everything soon. I think the dhampir is related to the “Specter” play, so I need to hurry up and watch that one before I get spoiled! Given some shots in the opening, it’s hard to say how much of the other plays they’ll give away by the end, because they’re definitely referencing them.
Idk if it’s because of all the overpowered isekais I’ve been watching, but seeing them take loss after loss with nothing to show for is getting a bit boring now
the close ups and camera work of the fight scenes is such a mess,
i can’t make sense of it ;-;
So essentially, this show has had 2 months worth of delays. This really should have been pushed back to start in fall. I did like how they animated the fight scenes.
So when Raphael is referring to grandpa, is that Lord Johannes for like a Grandpa figure then an actual grandpa for Raphael. Especially given how he would protect TRUMP over the kids. Overall, the kids’ role in the story is still weird. I am curious about the nursery on the antagonist side since the kids are just running around. The dads mentioned how the kids are at risk. Still, the fact that it showed Kiki growing a liking to the kids in helping out when they are lost tells me she isn’t all bad. I am curious if threatening the kids’ lives is something she would do.
Dali has a copy of all the stuff regarding TRUMP is interesting. We learn that one of the antagonists is a dhampir which is half human and half vampire. Curious how this clue will work.
Also, it was a small moment, but I really liked when the dads found Ui. It was a small moment, but showed Raphael protected Ui as a big brother. I wished it didn’t take a situation as drastic as that to see, but it was nice to see a subtle development from Raphael considering he is a kid.
Finally this show is back I missed this crazy vampire world. Even more worldbuilding was revealed this episode is it safe to assume that everyone we’ve seen so far like the townsfolk are vampires? I honestly wouldnt know for sure but now we know that humans DO exist and can create dhampirs. Pendulum members are pretty much powered up vampires (is it from those drugs?) there’s really not much the main cast can do whenever they get ambushed by them.
Not surprised Dali copied important classified documents for some reason. It kinda adds to his not totally following protocol attitude.
