  1. I’m glad that Iroha’s dad accepts the idea of Iroha going on a date quickly. He’s having an easier time of it that Mey Mey.

Mayu’s reactions continue to be adorable.

Brining Komugi and Daifuku along is a bit strange.. Mayu is going to try to save things, isn’t-

Yuki makes the first move! What a good cat.

Damn, Daifuku being a bro too. And assaulting Mey Mey! What a good bunny. I can’t wait for the movie.

Rain would make the date more difficult, but imagine how cute these two would be sharing an umprella?

Part of me feels kinda bad for Mey Mey because he doesn’t have any other friends. But his continued acting out is over the line. Where are those sheers..

Komugi going shopping is so cute, too.

these kids are *so* adorable holy fucking shit send help i am dying

Yea, get greedy Mayu! Oh wow, even Mey Mey is joining in!

    First names! And hand-holding!

    [](#squee)

  2. Gosh who knew Precure had the potential for such a wanderful romance 20 years in. Iroha and Satoru are good kids, and they have such good friends too. Even Mey Mey. The Mayu/Yuki/Komugi trio dynamic is pretty fun too. And I am really warming to Niko-sama, who combines godly wisdom with being a smug little shit in the background.

  3. HOLY SHTTTTTTTT THIS EPISODE MANNNNNNNNNNNNN

I can’t stop my stupid grin seeing how Mayu and Mey Mey act, also that Daifuku kick LMAO.

Yuki making the first move is really nice! Shows how much she has opened to them <3

    THEY WENT TO HAND HOLDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. so many Reina Ueda squeals and woahs this episode 👍

no bish-vision this time but Mey Mey’s fantasized friendship with Satoru is still quite entertaining, I guess fantasy Satoru’s ringtone is sheep noises

    Ram Daifuku was pretty cute.

Komugi’s ohhhhhhs looking at the hats reminded me of Maidragon Kanna’s ohhhhhs, which makes sense given they share a VA and all

Haphazard jumbles of shopping carts (particularly in parking lots) is one of my pet peeves, thank you Mey Mey for oraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraora’ing them

Mey Mey and Satoru holding hands at the end was funny

is this a Komugi backstory episode coming up? 👀👀👀

  5. Time to see how they start to move the story forward with Iroha and Satoru in an established relationship.

Dad and Mey Mey’s reaction to the first date is amazing. Mey Mey is dying, as am I but of laughter.

Mayu’s W-W-Woah! bit reminds me of that one Kaguya-sama sequence with the reaction and the zoom in and out.

Having Niko regularly voicing commentary on behalf of Daifuku could be a slow lead up to him starting to talk for himself. /copium

Daifuku kicking Mey Mey in the face and into the bushes was not on my bingo card. It kind of deserves to happen a few more times, really.

    And it did!

Komugi getting to try a dress on was kind of touching. Her going out with someone other than Iroha is an interesting way for her to try new things that her owner just might not think of.

Mey Mey is in trouble with the cat cures, as he should be.

Satoru managed to be pretty smooth during that conversation in the aquarium. I’m glad they had that talk about how things were going and Iroha didn’t end up feeling nervous all date long and think she was messing it up.

Oh wow, now that is one big Gaogaon. Giraffes are tall, I suppose.

A three cure henshin sequence is interesting, I suppose it’s all how you cut together the stock footage of the transformations.

What an amazing Mey Mey moment what with him rushing over to help with the cart stack.

Thank you Satoru for the Giraffe Facts™.

Shame about the date, but with the monster fight right outside the aquarium they were never going to keep it a secret from the couple. They were going to need Iroha for the group combo attack anyway.

Changing how Iroha and Satoru address each other would be a decent way of letting things more or less proceed as before but with that as the indicator of the difference in relationship.

  6. Satoru and Iroha first date was so cute omg 😭 it’s so fitting that they go to an aquarium with how much they both love animals. It’s really cute how this episode focused on them transitioning from being friends to an actual couple. Loved every moment of it

Yuki and Mayu teaching Komugi about fashion and taking her shopping was so cute. Yuki looked very proud of Komugi finally wearing some fancy clothes lol.

Mey Mey getting jealous about having to share Satoru with Iroha is really adorable. He used to be so annoying to me, but the last 3 episodes he’s been great. Pushed them together via the accidental confession and then today where he and the other girls did their best to prevent Satoru and Iroha having to fight. BUT, duty comes first and Satoru and Iroha love helping out the other cures anyway.

“Call me by my name” omg FINALLY they’re on full first name basis. I love love love this episode so much, absolutely adorable. Really feels like the start of a new chapter now and I can’t wait to see where we go next

  7. I was on vacation, so I binged 35-36-37.

That was great. This has been the most shoujo in a while, and that is nice. Wonderful, has been quite different that other Precure, even with the initial no-violence approach.

And the commitment to tell about the “Wonderful” things in life has been great.

Also to note, the past few episodes, Animation has been great, Direction on point and even the music.

Is sad that many anime fans in the west skip these series. Yes, they are mainly targeted to children, but Precure usually has a message and some depth, that can be universally liked.
