It’s a real bummer that this isn’t on Crunchyroll. I’ve really been enjoying the manga so far and the anime looks good.

I assume the crossdressing bars are popular since it’s actually females the customers are interacting with(?)

  2. Can someone tell me if this is actually a good romance between a guy and a girl. Also, is it full of a bunch of gay fan service?

  3. ObvsThrowaway5120 on

I kinda love how these “guys” are doing a real number on our boys lol. It’s pretty funny how conflicted these 3 goobers are at the sight of these beautiful “men.” It’ll be interesting to see how the pairs form and the dynamics between the couples.

  4. Fansubs wheren’t perfect, but there where a few [gems](https://imgur.com/ia7U4SS) [](#azusalaugh)

So, Suou is the agressive one going for [Tokiwa](https://imgur.com/sWo0IQM), Fuji is probably writing [smut](https://imgur.com/BTBR8bk) and found an unsuspecting victim in Asagi, and Kohaku is the most innocent of them and caught Hagi with her strong [gap](https://imgur.com/5LzmB2S).

So far I’m tending towards Kohaku as the best of the three, but you cannot ignore an agressive and [possesive](https://imgur.com/x3mIsaY) girl making her move [](#hardthink)

Hope the guys let go of their prejudice and learn to embrace the tomboy, else I claim all three for me

  5. This the peak fiction romance that we all asked for.

Comedy is phenomal, characters are so lovely and the romance? It’s damn paired romance without no sign of drama around losing heroines!

Pure fluff. Hope it’s gonna be as good as the manga.

  6. Suo was great, but I feel like they just kept using the same “OMG THEY’RE CROSSDRESSING” gag over and over. There were moments I found funny and moments I found less funny. I’ll give this a few more episodes to see where they’re going with it.

  7. Three college guys walk into their first mixer, expecting to see a trio of cute girls…but instead they get three pretty boys instead! Cute questions about their sexuality!

The OP is pretty jazzy, like it’s all one big party between the guys and the girls who dress like guys! I love how each girl (in girl mode) stares lovingly at plushies of their guys.

Straight from a drag king bar we’ve got Suo (Mikako Komatsu!), who is the most in-character as a complete chad of a guy, Fuji (Aoi Yuki!) who is stoic and probably writes BL in her spare time the way she keeps having people pose in erotic positions or tries to find out more about me, and Kohaku (Nao Toyama) seemingly the only normal girl who dresses like a guy and quite possibly the tsundere of the show.

Okay, you can tell these girls work at a bar because their immediate solution to breaking the ice is the King’s Game…with a kiss on the table. Okay, well, mostly Suo who seems to run on Host logic. And our first kiss is girl-on-girl…or is it guy-on-guy?

I don’t blame Tokiwa (Shunsuke Takeuchi) for trying to use a karaoke match to make the girls dress like girls, but instead HE ends up turning into a girl! So much cross-dressing in one show! I kind of wanted to hear Mikako Komatsu sing though.

Asagi (Shun Horie!) immediately pairs up with Fuji because he seems game for anything and goes along with Fuji’s whims, and Kohaku and Hagi (Gakuto Kajiwara!) share an indirect kiss that immediately pairs them together. Not to mention both pairings have fun at a crane game together! Though Suo and Tokiwa even take their first couple selfie.

Why DID Suo invite Tokiwa to a mixer? I’d say the fact that she immediately turns hostile when she sees him talking to other girls and has their selfie as her home screen, not to mention her genuine blushing, tell the real story. Meanwhile the college is going to start thinking Tokiwa is engaging in BL relationship with the mysterious SSR Prince.

The ED is really cute and fun! With each pairing doing a tiktok dance! My favorite parts are Tokiwa and Suo doing a heart pose and the final spread of the girls in their girl forms with their guys!

  8. [God, I love handsome women.](https://i.imgur.com/nEVSXvz.png)

This turned out to be way more fun than I expected. Suo being a total tease and messing with the guys was hilarious the whole way through, and watching the guys have an internal crisis about what was going on was great too. This *could* end up being a case of “one joke that wears thin after a few episodes” but if this show can keep the humor and character interactions fresh the whole way through, it could be a gem.

you know, after the first episode I’m kinda sad

I need more of this right now. This might be top 2 of the season for me if it keeps this up

  10. These episode felt simple and nice with young adults just hanging out. And lots of cute chibi faces.

It was adorable how Asagi and Fuji hit it of with each other from the get go and just had their fun. They remind me a bit of Nao and Kou from Wotakoi without Kou’s social anxiety. The moment were Hagi gave Kohaku the key chain was very cute with both their shyness and awkwardness. And it is nice how Suo can feel comfortable by beeing herself and go after the guy she is interested in.

Great for me is also that this a show about multiple couples. My favorite trope, yey. 🙂

  11. So I’m probably the only one that kept imaging Suo from Windbreaker acting like this Suo (even though he is actually a guy) and laughing.

So far I my favorite pair is Fuji and Asagi because they are both so chill. Asagi seems to be the quickest of the guys to get over the fact that the others are girls. And Fuji just wants reference data for her latest fic/fanart.

Kohaku and Hagi have potential but Hagi needs to stop panicking. He’s at his coolest when he forgets to be self conscious.

This was my pre-season for AotS and it even surpassed those expectations.

Multi ship with no love triangles

    Adult cast

    Everyone seems normal!

If this show gets some progression oh boy!

the 3 (real) guys are 3 idiots lol their derp faces make it extra funny

They’re really contemplating is it gay to be attracted to them if they’re really women? lol

Edit: Same character designer as handyman saitou. no wonder the faces look familiar

  14. Huh, haven’t gotten to actually watching the episode yet, but from a glance, this show seems like it will be sub confusion hell, as there seems to be separate subs for Bilibili, Netflix and Hidive+Amazon, in addition to the possible fansubs for the early Japanese releases.

At a cursory glance it seems the HIDIVE subs are the best produced at least, and it is the one the usual suspects carry. Still, this might require some investigation [](#csikon)

  15. “What’s the deal with the sausage fest?” LMAO.

This is either the greatest translation ever or the greatest dialogue ever, or both.

    Damn this episode is hilarious.

  16. Sometimes I wonder why some shows don’t get picked up by an English distributor. No mystery here though why no one wanted to touch this pile of dog shit, one of the worst shows I’ve ever seen. No human anywhere acts like any of these people in this situation. Everyone is so stupid that they are shocked and scandalized by women dressing like men?!?!? A one joke premise that wears thin in about a minute.

Wouldn’t a normal man upon finding out that women work in a cross dressing bar just be like “oh ok” rather than going into hysterics and shock? You’d think this took place in Saudi Arabia rather than Japan at how anyone thinking of someone else as homosexual is treated like the most wrong and deranged thing in existence.

This whole show and it’s terrible animation are pathetic and it boggles my mind someone actually thought to make this into a manga then adapt it to anime! First time I’ve seen a show where the fan translator was crying out for help hoping to never watch something like this again 🤣

  17. This was great! There’s something to the vibe of All Guy’s Mixer and [some of these shenanigans](https://imgchest.com/p/ej7mkv9dnyd) that really takes me back to my own student days.

Suo is such a menace! She clearly likes [messing with Tokiwa](https://imgchest.com/p/n87wgql3g4x), which tells me that she’s probably really into him. Suo didn’t have that couple’s picture saved as her default phone screen for no reason!

I’m getting a strong impression that [she’s not planning on letting him go](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/e4gdcqjqqp4.png) at the very least. I do wonder why *him* specifically?

Just because [Tokiwa looks cute as a girl](https://imgchest.com/p/m9yx2djwq7q)? /s

  18. If I had a nickel for every nasuo opening for an anime about cool girls I’d have 2 nickels

Asagi is definitely best boy, he’s too innocent for his own good.

This show will be my light hearted chill show for the season
