The one piece was fantastic! and there are boomers that praise Golden Kamuy, which is to say people that wouldn’t normally watch anime love the storytelling.

There are time where videogame movie are awful but now we have sonic and mario, arcane
There are time when people think galactus , parallex and some comic staff would be silly on screen but now we have seem starro , celestial ,ego
So you never know there can one day where la anime can be good we already have one piece , kenshin

The problem isn’t live action anime, it’s bad adaptation. And depending on the anime, bad medium too.
One of the top 10 mysteries is however tf live action AOT managed to get a second movie
One piece and JoJo where pretty good imo
One Piece, Alita Battle Angel, Day After Tomorrow, and Takagi San would beg to differ. Also Gintama and Assassination Classroom are kinda good.
But yeah, lots of Anime live actions just doesn’t really work that well.
Edit: it’s Edge of Tomorrow. Not Day After Tomorrow. But yeah, it was a masterpiece.
Dubs, tropey battle shounen, blatant wish fulfillment Isekai, Self insert MCs, Stupid=Funny MCs, One Piece anime Pacing.
