  1. Wood has different thresholds of temperature to get ignited depending on the type.

    When making campfires you can even use wood that burns in higher temperatures as support for a pot for example.

    Wood doesn’t burn just because it has contact with fire – it needs to be heated to a certain temperature, it doesn’t necessarily have to be wet to not catch on fire.
